There is a wide variety of live music venues throughout the Conejo Valley. If you are traveling to the area with the help of a travel agent, you can simply ask for an itinerary for the local music shows. Otherwise, you might find yourself stumbling across banners and flyers all over the place. You can even contact the local town authority as they may have information on the closest musical performances happening in the near future. If you simply take a look around, there should be no reason why you cannot find a good variety of music to suit your personal tastes.

The Discovery Club

If you are visiting the area with your children, you might want to take a few hours to check out the Discovery Cube in Los Angeles. This is an extremely fun science center for the entire family. It is very hands-on--which means that your children will really be able to get in there and learn through action. For example, there is even a mini-mock grocery store in the science center that allows children to shop for things, read labels, and learn how to use a checkout.

Comedy Clubs

While this is not going to be a place you will take the children to, it is excellent for a nice night out with just the adults. Make sure that you are asking your travel agent for information on what clubs require an admission fee or a drink minimum. This way, you will be able to plan your night according to the best options for your budget.
